That is a pocket size County Comm Prybar knife. County Comm sold a prybar that comes in 3 sizes. These have been around for over 15 years. The steel is very hard because its a prybar. It holds an edge extremely well. People were sharpening these, wrapping the handles and there is a Kydex sheath made for these and they are very popular.

For short pieces like that you don't even need a steambox to be honest. Just a PP bag with a small venthole cut into it and something that generates steam, like to get wallpaper off the walls, and bob's your uncle.

The algorithm brought me here as a knife guy. All around this seems like a good tool. 14c28n is a great steel choice for all around traits. Definitely not rust proof. Crossbar locks are strong but not the strongest. The reason they are so popular know is because the patent expired. My only suggestion is expand the colors past army green g10. Good luck!

Question for you, where does this land in folding knife length laws in California? Is this classified as a chisel or a knife and does the 2.5 inch max length come into effect? I'm in construction and want to carry this at all times, but not trying to be harassed.

There is special adhesive for rigid pink foam board. Comes in a tube for a caulk gun like construction adhesive. It doesn't melt the foam board.

I'd love to have one, but I can't manage $200 ($160 pre sale) for a single chisel just because it folds. If the price decreases I'd love to get my hands on one, but as it stands it seems more like a piece of merch for a more dedicated fan.

Just some feedback on ordering the bourbon blade/your website I thought I would share, I think it would be great if you enabled a paypal option on your site. I try to avoid sharing my credit card information as much as possible, so I prefer to use paypal, particularly with less established vendors. I've been going back and forth on ordering the bourbon blade since it was announced last week, and decided to pull the trigger this video. I was going to order the blade from the bourbon moth site, but, since I didn't want to use credit card, I went to the katz-moses site and ordered there. If that didn't have a paypal option, I just wouldn't have ordered at all. Anyways, just wanted to share that non-credit card options are something at least that affect my purchasing decisions. Looking forward to getting the bourbon blade, though!

Just a note that all the holes with the dowels etc. are going to give the steam a path behind the pipe and foam. Theres a decent chance you will end up with water held against the ply. I cant suggest a better way to do it, though.

Former lowes employee....wayyy better than that orange place lol....anyway you probably already know rgis, but since you acted like you didn't and...your currently remodeling a house ...the light blue spray foam is minimally expanding, that's why it's doe windows and doors....the red can will push your doors and windows out of square if you use to much.

If you place another curved cutout on the bottom, you could increase the angle of the adjustable fence, like up to 45 degrees. You probably wouldn't need more than that.

1:53 “There’s more of this missing which means it must be a better product.” THIS is why I love when great creators like yourself include random quips that show your thought process…whether you were being serious or funny, it shows how you think. Personally- I tend to see the same situation in a different light. My thoughts tend to run along the lines of: “hmmm, they don’t stock this product very well which must mean nobody buys it because it’s shit.” Where you see low inventory = high demand, my mind jumps straight to low inventory = low demand. Perspective is important!

That's a well (over)engineered steam box for such tiny strips of wood. Should last you a life-time! I've been getting by for 15 years with a length of 4.5 inch PVC sewer pipe on an under-frame of roof battens (hot PVC sags, I discovered early on) and a steam cleaner, building steam-bent Windsor chairs and the like. But if my rig ever gives up, I might well push the boat out and built to your pattern. If you can get hold of riven green wood for steaming (failing that, air-dried) you'll find you have much less issue with breakage.

I appreciate the honesty of "mistakes were made." Screwing the first sheet of 3/4" ply to the wall and then glueing the 1/2" sheet to it thereby hiding the first set of screws is something I could see myself doing. Glad I can learn about "things to think about" before jumping into my projects, even if it's not something exactly the same.

why didn't you add a piece of sheet metal to the inside of the door with all the effort put in to insulate not to mention the steam will eventually corroded the door along with those dowels. and those decorative garage door angle irons are expensive.
